Lower shelf allows utilization of the station for work and storage at the same time and allows large equipment to be placed in parts in the same station and storage without doors forming a barrier between the researcher and equipment.

The station is constructed so that the electrical and plumbing systems pass through designated trenches and within the vertical pillars of the laboratory skeleton. Transmission in this way allows for a cleaner and clearer work environment.
